| The One World Centre is a
Development Education Centre set up in 1984 by a group of people
who wanted to raise awareness of global issues in Dundee.
A number of development, human rights and
environmental groups were involved.
Christian
Aid provided a small grant and the One World Centre was
born.
The Centre moved to its present location
at 189 Princes Street in 1995.
In recent years the Centre has focused on
Development Education1 and is
committed to campaigning on trade and debt.
